Bison tallow/back fat has abundant levels of CLA's and omega-3s. Back fat is more 'buttery' and is found on the animal's back. Can be used in cooking, making pemmican, tallow, or a base for authentic bison soap, candles and more. We like to melt our bison fat at a low heat, strain it through a cheese cloth three times and store in glass jars. So easy and so good for you!
