What Our Bison Eat

Along with the bountiful prairie grasses on which our bison roam and love to eat, we also feed our bison beautiful, golden yellow corn that we grow ourselves along with rich, green, alfalfa hay.  We believe you will find our bison meats to have more mellow and mild flavors with these wonderful additions to their diet, while still maintaining the lean, nutrient rich bison we all desire.    We think you will find our bison to be more tender, and a little sweeter as well. 

We are huge proponents of regenerative agriculture and work closely with the Natural Resources Conservation Service to insure that our land is as rich and fertile now as it was hundreds of years ago.  Some of the regenerative practices we engage in are no-till farming, the use of cover crops, and planting grass strips to control water and wind erosion.
